About
I work with the JULES model, ensuring that it correctly represents what we know about the water cycle. This involves studying processes such as soil physics, evapotranspiration and how these are affects by extreme heat and extreme cold. I manage a group developing the code for JULES and we work with data from satellite, from sites (soil moisture as well as heat and evaporation fluxes) and from river gauging.
We deliver analyses of the UK and global water cycle as well as the code, available for use as a community model.
