About
              Galina is a PhD researcher at the Edinburgh site of the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Her focus is on the relationship between increased nitrogen deposition and greenhouse gas emissions in temperate and tropical forests. Galina's main interests and expertise lie in climate change mitigation and adaptation.  She has contributed toward developing and running the Climate Solutions Programme and  the Climate Emergency Summits series, as well as taking an active part in the European project "Landscapes as Carbon Sinks" as a research associate.  All these projects aim to facilitate reaching Scotland's net zero target.
