About
BSc Environmental Science (1977), Masters - Engineering Hydrology (1978) and Environmental Informatics (2011), PhD (2017) - "Utilising Reverse Hydrology to quantify and improve the spatio-temporal information content of catchment rainfall estimates for flood modelling". The project developed a method olgy for inverting data-based mechanistic models which was applied which was then used to investigate (and improve) estimates of catchment rainfall inputs. Currently Senior Research Associate on Q-NFM project looking at the efficacy of Natural Flood Management (working with nature) on micro- and large catchments in the NW of England using TopModel.
