About
I am a PhD student at Lancaster University on a Waitrose CTP funded project researching the use of remote sensing for sustainable intensification of apple production. I am exploring using low-cost multispectral, thermal and 3D sensors for the early detection of scab disease to inform targeted spraying of fungicides in orchards. Currently working on seedlings, I hope to scale-up my sensing to tree-level and develop a system for operation in commercial orchards.
