Land and healthy soils are some of our most precious and pressured natural resources. With multiple functions, multiple drivers of change and multiple beneficiaries, managing this resource is a complex task. We seek to address this complexity by combining the state-of-the-art in data and modelling approaches. By advancing our capacity to understand and predict land use and soil system change and ecosystem services, we can support better management of this vital resource. Our research involves a diverse range of approaches: from Earth Observation and data fusion to mechanistic modelling and machine learning.
