Retired Professor Emeritus but continuing with research and development, mainly on data-based mechanistic (DBM) modelling , forecasting and control. Recent research has been on global climate modelling and forecasting; COVID-19 time series analysis and forecasting; the estimation of slowly varying parameters in continuous-time dynamic models; and various engineering projects, including wireless power transmission and robotic modelling & control (both with outside collaborators).
