I am postgraduate research student working on the performance of multispecies biodiversity indicators. My research looks at how different forms of ecological variation can influence the patterns we see when monitoring species trends over time. I use simulation‑based approaches to explore these ideas and to better understand the behaviour of commonly used indicators under a range of data conditions. More broadly, I’m interested in quantitative ecology, ecological modelling, and the tools we use to interpret biodiversity change.
