Francois Edwards

I am a freshwater ecologist with over 20 years of experience in the government, consultancy and academic sectors. My specialism is the monitoring and management of the biodiversity, ecological quality and habitat integrity of rivers. My focus is ecological status assessments, nature conservation, environmental flow assessments, hydropower management, and the control of water pollution and scarcity. I use my expertise to provide outcomes that optimise exploitation of freshwater ecosystems by human society and promote a sustainable, healthy natural water environment. I work internationally (Europe, Africa, Asia) to deliver applied science, research & development, expert opinion and consultancy services. I am French – English bilingual and also fluent in Spanish.
