About
My research interests lie within different aspects of nutrient (nitrogen and carbon) biogeochemistry, soil-plant-atmosphere interactions, environmental chemistry, air pollution, nutrient management in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, and the study of nutrient load and eutrophication in marine and freshwaters. The main focus of my research is on the investigations of soil-plant-atmosphere exchange of GHGs and short lived climate forcers (NOx, NH3, VOCs).
I have expertise in gas flux measurements using automated static/ dynamic chamber systems, micrometeorological techniques in fields and also in laboratory-based mesocosm studies. I was engaged in a number of international projects funded by EU, UNEP, UNDP.
