About
Stuart is an animal ecologist working principally with wild populations of birds and mammals to address questions at the interface between animal behaviour, population ecology and conservation. He runs a long-term study of dippers (Cinclus cinclus) in Yorkshire Dales National Park, focusing on how environmental quality and change impact on the ecology of these river birds.
