About
My research interests are in atmospheric composition, chemistry and transport, and in understanding how natural and anthropogenic emissions of trace gases affect urban and regional air quality and global climate. I develop and apply numerical models of atmospheric processes over a range of scales from urban to global, and I am interested in quantifying and reducing uncertainty in these models, and in how this can help improve process understanding and guide environmental decision making. I am exploring how reduced-form models and emulators can be used in the calibration of large-scale physical models of the atmosphere, climate and Earth system.
